El Agave Mexican Restaurant - Fargo: A Culinary Fiesta Awaits!

Outstanding food and service. I don’t know what I was expecting but this restaurant surpassed those expectations. I loved the appetizers we got, freshest guacamole, some sort of cheesy skillet dip. I got a lunch combo that also didn’t disappoint.

I was a little skeptical about this place at first. The dining room was a little loud, but not bad. My wife and I went there to celebrate our anniversary and Cinco de Mayo! Service was polite, friendly, and quick. My mezcalita tasted so good! Tortilla chips and homemade salsa and was good and done good slice to it. Our entrees were so tasty, clean flavors and well balanced.

Loved this place, great service and wonderful food. We had the guacamole, which is made right at your table, Burrito Jalisco, and Mixed Fajita as well as a Hibiscus Margarita. We researched several Mexican restaurants in Fargo and are very happy with our pick.

They have NEVER disappointed me! The flavor is amazing, temperature hot as it's always fresh, the size of food portion you get is VERY filling and the staff when I've dined in the restaurant, is tentative and extremely friendly. Will order and dine in again!! (Try the Enchiladas Vaqueras if you're unsure what to get!!)

A gem of a restaurant. I have eaten Mexican food all over America and three cities in Mexico. This place has it all the way right. The tableside guacamole was great. The salsa was some of the best I have ever had. The birria tacos were chefs kiss. The beans and rice were delicious. The chips were perfect; fresh, the right consistency, and not at all greasy. My waitress was a doll. Her name was Vanessa and her service was exceptional excellent. Adding to my overall dining experience. Do yourself a flavor and get on in there!

The food was good. I ordered the steak street tacos and the chips with guacamole. The service was excellent. Our waiter was probably the best I’ve ever had. Props to him. I wish I would have gotten his name. He made the experience great. Our food took longer than it should have to come out and there were a few mix ups. Not his fault at all, but he made sure to check up on us frequently and you could definitely tell he was working extremely hard and with a positive attitude. He handled the stress well.

The food at El Agave Mexican Restaurant is very good! My wife and I have been here multiple times and always enjoy it. Prices are also very reasonable. The Agave Burrito is one of my favorite dishes and my wife really likes the ChoriPollo. The fresh made guacamole is also great. For those of you that like things extra hot like my wife and I do we highly recommend asking for a side of their habanero sauce!

This restaurant is excellent! The steak bowl was sooooo delicious. The Chorizo queso was so very delicious as well. The chips were warm, and the dip was medium, just like i like it. The staff was so attentive and friendly. Very clean restaurant and restrooms. There are plenty of parking spots. The food was so delicious I will go back. We enjoyed our food. Come out and have a bite of the most delicious food I've eaten while visiting here. Just a note, they have a guy with a cart that has fresh guacamole and from what i could tell he has a tip jar. So not sure what that's all about. I don't eat that. Bring the family for a good delicious meal.
